Soft full-grain calf leather upper, vegetable-tanned and hand-burnished. The colour is built up in stages — base dye, edge dressing, hand-burnishing at the toe and heel — which is why the brown reads with depth rather than flatness. Hand-stitched seams across the vamp. Hand-welted construction with a stitched leather sole, stacked leather heel, small rubber pad at the heel breast. Solid brass buckle, hand-aged. Made in our Pune workshop. The hand-burnishing alone adds half a day per pair — done with a cloth, a small amount of wax, and time. Machines don't replicate it.

Care Brush after wear with a soft horsehair brush. Condition every two months with a neutral or tan-tinted leather cream. Polish with a matching wax for depth, especially at the toe and heel where the burnishing lives. The colour will deepen further with wear — this is the leather doing its job.
