Goodyear-welted construction with a stitched leather sole. Stacked leather heel with a thin rubber pad. Padded leather insole. Open lacing means the shoe accommodates a wider range of insteps than a closed oxford. Built in our Pune workshop. The derby is a workhorse of the line — less formal than the oxford, less casual than the loafer, the shoe most men will wear most often.

Care Brush after wear with a soft horsehair brush. Condition every two months with a black or neutral leather cream. Polish with black wax three or four times a year for depth. Use shoe trees overnight. Re-sole when the leather wears through; the upper is built for it. Plain-toe derbies show wear at the toe first — keep the toe polished and the rest looks after itself.
