Soft tan full-grain cowhide upper, vegetable-tanned. The tan deepens significantly with wear — within a year the leather reads warmer than it does new. The traditional mojari shape is preserved at the toe. Hand-stitched seams across the vamp. Hand-welted construction with a stitched leather sole. Cushioned leather insole. The open heel-counter means the shoe slips on without resistance; the cut of the vamp holds the foot in place. Built in our Pune workshop. The mojari is one of the older silhouettes in the workshop — the technique is closer to the original Rajput craft than to modern shoe-making.

Care Brush after wear with a soft horsehair brush. Condition every couple of months with a neutral leather cream — vegetable-tanned tan leather drinks conditioner deeply. Avoid heavy water exposure; vegetable tan stains visibly when soaked. The tan colour will deepen significantly with wear; this is the leather working as it should. Use shoe trees overnight.
