Full-grain calf leather upper, dyed black through the hide and hand-burnished at the toe. The square toe shape is built on a specific last — a different last than the rounded loafers in the line. Blake-stitched construction with a stitched leather sole. The Blake stitch holds the upper directly to the sole, giving a slim profile that suits the squared-off silhouette. Stacked leather heel with a thin rubber pad. Brushed gold buckle on a screw fitting. Made in our Pune workshop. The square toe is unforgiving at the lasting stage — the corners of the toe have to be sharp without losing the curve of the vamp.

Care Brush after wear with a soft horsehair brush. Condition every two months with a black or neutral leather cream. Polish with black wax three or four times a year for depth. Keep the gold buckle clean with a dry cloth; avoid metal polish, which will strip the brushed finish. Use shoe trees overnight to hold the squared shape. Delivery Made to order.
