Full-grain calf leather upper, vegetable-tanned and hand-burnished. The toe shape is closer to a loafer than a traditional mule — narrower, more structured. Hand-welted construction with a stitched leather sole and a stacked leather heel. Padded leather insole. The open heel is reinforced with a leather counter that holds shape — most mules collapse at the heel within a year; this one doesn't. Built in our Pune workshop. Mules require more thought at the lasting stage than enclosed shoes — the foot has to be held without a heel cup, which depends on the cut of the vamp.

Care Brush after wear with a soft horsehair brush. Condition every two months with a neutral leather cream. The footbed is exposed at the heel, so wipe it with a slightly damp cloth more often than you would a closed shoe. Use shoe trees overnight to hold the shape, which matters more on a mule than a closed shoe. Polish with a matching wax for depth. Delivery Made to order.
