Soft top-grain leather upper, treated with a fine textured grain — pressed under heat rather than printed. The grain runs across the entire upper consistently, which depends on careful cutting at the bench. Hand-stitched moc-toe seam in tonal thread. Hand-welted construction with a stitched leather sole and a stacked leather heel. Padded leather insole. The moccasin construction means the upper wraps under the foot rather than meeting a separate sole at the welt — this is what gives moccasins their characteristic flexibility. Made in our Pune atelier. Moccasin construction is older than welted construction and demands different skills — the hand-stitching at the toe is the visual focus and has to be even.

Care Brush after wear with a soft horsehair brush, paying attention to the moc-toe stitch where dust gathers. Condition every two months with a neutral leather cream worked into the texture with a cloth, then buffed dry. Polish with a matching wax for depth. Use shoe trees overnight.
