Soft full-grain calf leather upper, vegetable-tanned and dyed dark coffee through the hide. Hand-burnished at the toe and heel — the colour shifts subtly across the shoe, deeper at the burnished points, lighter at the body. Goodyear-welted construction with a stitched leather sole. Stacked leather heel with a thin rubber pad. Padded leather insole. Open lacing accommodates a wider range of insteps than a closed oxford. Built in our Pune workshop. The dark coffee colour is one of the harder tones to dye consistently — it sits between brown and black and either side reads wrong.

Care Brush after wear with a soft horsehair brush. Condition every two months with a dark brown or neutral leather cream — work it in, leave it ten minutes, buff dry. Polish with a matching wax for depth, especially at the toe and heel. Use shoe trees overnight. Avoid water; vegetable-tanned leather stains visibly when wet. Delivery Made to order.
