Indian goat suede upper, brushed and dyed in a controlled batch to a consistent brown. Goat suede is denser and finer than calf suede — closer to velvet, with a tighter weave to the fibre. Hand-welted construction with a stitched leather sole and a stacked leather heel. Padded leather insole. The open heel is reinforced with a leather counter that holds shape — most suede mules collapse at the heel within a year; this one doesn't. Built in our Pune workshop. Goat suede is a regionally specific material — it's used in Indian leatherwork and rare elsewhere.

Care Brush after every wear with a dedicated suede brush, working in one direction to keep the nap aligned. Use a suede eraser on scuffs. Apply a suede-specific waterproofing spray every couple of months — suede absorbs everything. Avoid leather cream entirely. Wipe the exposed footbed at the heel with a slightly damp cloth as needed.
