Story

The Parker in black — the same Goodyear-welted penny loafer as the brown, in dyed-through black calfskin.

Top-grain Italian black calf leather, almond toe, hand-stitched penny strap. Hand-welted leather sole. Most penny loafers are Blake-stitched or cemented; the Goodyear welt is what makes this one outlast the rest.

Worn with charcoal grey, midnight blue, denim. Made in our Pune atelier.

Craft
Top-grain Italian calf leather upper, dyed black through the hide. Hand-burnished at the toe and heel for depth. The penny strap is hand-stitched and shaped, not flat-cut, with the slot fully formed. Hand-welted construction with a stitched leather sole and a stacked leather heel. Padded leather insole. The shoe is built to be re-soled — the welt allows the sole to be replaced without disturbing the upper. Built in our Pune workshop. A Goodyear-welted loafer is heavier than a Blake-stitched one and lasts considerably longer.
Care & Delivery
Care Brush after wear with a soft horsehair brush. Condition every two months with a black or neutral leather cream. Polish with black wax three or four times a year for depth. Use shoe trees overnight to hold the loafer's shape. Re-sole when the leather wears through; the upper is built for it. Delivery Made to order. Twenty-five days from confirmation to dispatch.
