Story

The Ralph is a two-material brown loafer — soft oil-pull leather across the vest, pebble-grain calf across the vamp, antique side buckle.

Oil-pull leather lightens at flex points and darkens in the body, giving the shoe a worn-in look from the first wear. Pebble-grain on the vamp adds texture without changing the silhouette. Antique brass side buckle.

Hand-welted leather sole, almond toe. Made in our Pune atelier.

Craft
Vest in full-grain oil-pull leather — oil worked into the leather during finishing, which gives the characteristic two-tone effect at flex points. Vamp in soft pebble-grain calf leather, pressed under heat for the textured finish. Hand-welted construction with a stitched leather sole and a stacked leather heel. Padded leather insole. Antique brass buckle on a leather strap on the side, screw-fitted. The two leathers are joined along a clean structural seam, hand-stitched in tonal thread. Built in our Pune workshop. The oil-pull effect deepens with wear — within a year, the vest reads markedly different than it did new.
Care & Delivery
Care Brush after wear with a soft horsehair brush. Condition every two months with a neutral leather cream — tinted creams can distort the oil-pull effect on the vest. Polish with a clear or matching wax for depth. Keep the buckle clean with a dry cloth; avoid metal polish. Use shoe trees overnight. Delivery Made to order.
