Body in soft full-grain black calfskin, vegetable-tanned. Trim and base in tan-brown oil-pull leather — the oil is worked into the hide during finishing, which gives the characteristic light-and-dark patina at flex points and high-wear areas. Hand-stitched seams throughout, internal organiser pockets, leather-wrapped handles. Brass clasp closures, screw-fitted so they can be replaced. The base of the case is reinforced with an additional leather panel — the part of any briefcase that wears first. Made in our Pune workshop. Briefcase construction is closer to upholstery than shoe-making — different skills, same hands.

Care Wipe with a dry cloth after each use. Condition every two to three months with a neutral leather cream worked into the body and the trim separately — the oil-pull trim takes conditioner differently than the calf body. Avoid soaking; if caught in rain, blot dry with a clean cloth and let air-dry away from heat. Store stuffed with a soft cloth or paper to hold the shape.
